Hello, I'm Radha Somani, an aspiring designer currently in my third year of study in Communication Design, based in India. My interests span across user-centric design, user research, creating solutions that simplify and enhance everyday experiences and digital interfaces. Since childhood, my passion for creativity has been nurtured through countless moments—whether it was observing my sister’s artistic process, exploring new ways to solve problems, or experimenting with visual elements to create something meaningful.. These early influences laid the foundation for my passion for design.
Through my journey, I’ve embraced challenges as opportunities to grow and have worked on projects that explore innovative and impactful ideas. I strive to balance creativity with functionality, aiming to craft designs that are both meaningful and practical.
Outside of design, I enjoy music, movies, and diving into creative outlets like cooking or exploring diverse art forms. Looking ahead, I’m determined to make a difference through design—creating solutions that connect with people and bring real value to their lives. I'm driven to excel and carve out a name for myself in the design industry and beyond. My determination to evolve in this field knows no bounds.
I ventured into the wild world of streetwear with my very own clothing brand.
It didn’t quite become the next Supreme. But what it lacked in profit margins, it made up for in life lessons. From navigating production woes and marketing missteps to learning the art of staying calm when things go sideways, it was a crash course in entrepreneurship.
While the startup didn’t survive, it taught me resilience, problem-solving, and the importance of clear communication. It was a challenging, humbling, and wildly educational experience—one that made me a better designer, thinker, and all-around creative problem solver."
